Sharathji: London bookings temporarily suspended
We are sorry to let you know that Sharathji is currently experiencing delays with the processing of his passport for his Schengen visa. His passport is currently still at the Danish embassy in New Delhi: the only information we have is that it is being ‘processed’. At this point we are unsure if he will get his passport back in time to travel to London ready for the first class on Friday 04th August.
Obviously we are all really hoping that he will get his passport back in the next few days and the workshop can go ahead as planned, or failing that, that he will still be able to get to London to at least teach some of the scheduled classes.
We know that this will be extremely disappointing news and that many of you have invested time and money to be in London to study with Sharathji. We really hope that all of you will still want to keep your bookings while we wait for more news but when we spoke to Sharathji earlier today, we all agreed the right thing to do is to keep you informed of the situation so that if any of you prefer to cancel your booking sooner rather then later you are able to do so.
Sharathji also asked that we convey to you all how sorry he is about the situation and that he is doing everything he can to get to London to see you.
So what next?
We will email everyone again as soon as we have any more news - there is no need to email us for updates but do keep an eye on your inbox and the workshop booking page where we will post any news as soon as we have it.
If you would like to cancel you ticket now, please email us and we will arrange a full refund.
If you decide to keep you booking, which we really hope you will, and Sharathji is unable to be here to teach a class you have a ticket for, you will be fully refunded automatically so you won't need to email us. If Sharathji does make it in time to teach some of the classes then there will be the option to transfer your ticket instead of getting a refund. The venue is very large so we will have space for you all.
As we are unable to cancel the venue booking at this late stage, any days that Sharathji cannot teach, Hamish is planning to run a free Mysore class and we hope he will be assisted by some of the UK's authorised teachers. This is in no way a replacement for studying with Sharathji but we hope it will be an enjoyable event that brings our community together.
We can only say again how sorry we are to find ourselves in this situation, and to disappoint you all. In 18 years of hosting Sharathji in London, we have never had a problem. We have spent many months planning and working with Sharathji on creating this workshop and we are really hoping it can still go ahead.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
We will endeavour to respond to any questions you might have but please bear with us.
Love Hamish and Anna
Please keep an eye on the booking page. We will reopen bookings as soon as we know Sharathji has his passport.
