Some books I like
Since we’re spending a lot of time at home, trying to get off the screen is a little difficult. So bellow are a few books that are vaguely yoga related.
Parashurama
When I first started teaching astanga yoga one of my first students was an ex-submariner. He’d spent three months underwater with 100 people.
A straw parrot
We are a bunch of amazing people. I’m constantly inspired by my students and always surprised when I find out they can do more than get into padmasana.
Happiness and sadness
Happiness and sadness, success and failure. We all know these feelings and while we prefer happiness and success and also praise ourselves and others when we/they are successful.
Pandu + Kunti
Has anyone been to the shops recently, what a pleasant experience. Take your time, no dodging elbows or being shoved from behind. Worth the queue.
A little bit of shala
Thought you’d like a little bit of shala. I know we all miss the place…

O Gaṇeśa, god with the curved trunk, of great stature,
Whose brilliance is equal to ten million suns.
Grant me freedom from obstacles,
In all things, at all times.”
