Beginners intro session
At our Intro to Self Practice sessions, students can expect to learn the fundamentals of the Astanga practice including breath, bandhas and the surya namaskars (sun salutations) with the emphasis on committing these to memory.
These one-off sessions often help those new to the practice feel more confident about joining a Mysore class and also provide a chance to ask questions and hear in a little more detail about the foundations of the practice. The beginners sessions are suitable for complete beginners and those with some experience of yoga but who are new to self-practice style Astanga yoga.
